Statement Of Faith

  1. The one and only God: We believe that there is only one true God that has revealed Himself as the Creator of all things and that He eternally exists. We believe in the Trinity of God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  2. The inspiration of the Scriptures: We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, our only errorless law of faith and conduct inspired by the Holy Spirit.
  3. Man, his fall, redemption, and hope: We believe that man was created in God’s image and likeness in a state of innocence, but man’s disobedience obtained a sinful nature and remained subject to eternal condemnation. His only bridge of hope and eternal life redemption is the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary and His resurrection from the dead.
  4. The salvation of man: We believe that salvation is attained when man repents of his sin and accepts Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and through faith the forgiveness of God. Moreover, the Holy Spirit gives internal security of what God’s Son has done. From this point on, the saved man must live a new, correct, and holy life.
  5. Baptism and the gifts of the Holy Spirit: We believe that baptism in the Holy Spirit is a different spiritual experience to salvation and after new birth in Christ, its manifestation is speaking in other tongues not by man’s impulse but by the Holy Spirit’s direction. We believe that through the Holy Spirit we receive gifts that help us to equip the believer in fulfilling the Great Commission.
  6. The church: We believe that the church is the Body of Christ; it is composed by each believer born of the Spirit whose name is written in the book of life. Its purpose is to worship, evangelize the world fulfilling the Great Commission written in Matthew 28:19, and edify the faithful.
  7. Baptism by water: We believe in baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is a public testimony of the believer’s faith that he has accepted Jesus as his Savior.
  8. Communion: We believe that communion is a sacrament for the Church in which members of the congregation that have already been baptized in water participate as a symbol of our union with Christ, a reminder of His suffering and death, and an announcement of His imminent return.
  9. The rejection of false doctrines: We believe that the disapproval of false doctrines is necessary to evit confusions and heresies and to preserve the healthy doctrine and unity in the body of Christ.
  10. The rapture of the church: We believe that the rapture of the Church will occur when Jesus Christ returns for His Church. In that moment, those who have died as Christians will be resurrected first and transferred together with the Christians in order to worship God for all eternity. This event can occur at any moment and will take place before the Great Tribulation.
  11. The final judgment of unbelievers: We believe that the final judgment will be for all those who refused to accept Jesus Christ. They, together with Satan and the fallen angels, will be thrown into the lake of fire where they will be for eternity.
